We are presently seeking a Temporary - Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician to calibrate and maintain production line and facilities equipment. You will be working with high precision, commercial and custom-made equipment. This position is for a 5-month leave of absence only.

Your responsibilities:

• Proactively perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Assemble and test new production equipment.
• Track maintenance and repairs of equipment using electronic log system.
• Purchasing spare parts and contacting equipment vendors and service providers.
• Working with operators to understand the issues with equipment.
• Being on call on weekends on every other weekend.
• Sustaining 5s in your work area.

Your Qualifications:

• High school or technical school diploma.
• Solid understanding of troubleshooting, problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to read and understand electrical / mechanical diagrams and manuals.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a manufacturing equipment maintenance technician.
• Experience working with complex processes.
• Experience working with mechanical, pneumatic and electronic equipment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Preferred:

• Prior experience with high precision placement equipment is a plus.
• Including wire bonders, SRO, Vacuum pumps, chillers
• Experience with optical components and alignment.
• Experience in medical/optical/aerospace environment.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $28/hr - $38/hr Depending on Experience
