Site Superintendent

Overview

Our Client is seeking TWO dedicated and experienced Site Superintendents to join their teams in Great Barrington and Pittsfield, MA. As a Site Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction workers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to maintain project timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any concerns.
• Ensure that all necessary permits and inspections are obtained and completed in a timely manner.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all personnel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid) are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
