Property Accountant
Role Overview
The Property Accountant manages full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of mixed-use properties, including financial reporting, billing, and expense management. This role provides hands-on experience across retail, commercial, residential, and hospitality assets within a collaborative, onsite environment. The position offers strong growth potential and exposure to diverse property accounting operations.

Requires in-office attendance five days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple retail and office properties
- Perform month-end and year-end close, including financial statement preparation
- Ensure timely payment of mortgages, property taxes, insurance, and utilities
- Prepare CAM (Common Area Maintenance), water, and percentage rent billings
- Support accounting operations and team initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger processes (accruals, prepaids, reconciliations)
- Experience with M3, Sage, or similar accounting/ERP systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
