- Competitive Pay: This position is per-visit and reimbursed based on the type of service provided:
- Office hours (meetings, in-services, administrative time): $45.00/hr
- Routine therapy visits: $75.00 per visit
- Speech Therapy initial assessment visits: $110.00 per visit
Visit frequency and length may vary.
- Schedule: PRN, as needed

- Evaluate patients for speech and language disorders, initiate assessments upon referral, and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the physician and multidisciplinary care team.
- Provide rehabilitative speech-language therapy services, carry out appropriate interventions, and educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment procedures and supportive activities.
- Monitor, document, and report patient progress, responses to therapy, and changes in condition using the agency’s Problem Oriented Record (POR) and required clinical documentation systems.
- Coordinate care with healthcare team members, consult with supervisors, and participate in case conferences, in-services, and ongoing professional development.
- Support patients and families in adapting to physical, mental, and social limitations by providing education, encouragement, and resources to promote independence and continuity of care.
- Maintain compliance with agency policies, patient rights, confidentiality, infection control, safety standards, and emergency preparedness while managing workload, scheduling, and priorities effectively.
- Active, good-standing MA Speech-Language Pathologist license
- 1-3 years of experience in geriatrics, long-term care, or short-term rehab
- Maintains professional and educational competency in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Physically able to perform job duties, including standing, sitting, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs unassisted and up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, effectively interacting with residents, families, visitors, government personnel, and interdisciplinary staff
