Hybrid Accounting Manager - $130K - $140K + Bonus

Become a part of our team as an Accounting Manager, responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial properties. In this role, you will collaborate closely with third-party property teams to ensure precise and compliant financial reporting, oversee loan compliance, and offer audit support. The position provides a hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-office attendance on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the option to choose a consistent third in-office day. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate accounting and proficiency in property management software, with MRI experience being an advantage. The salary ranges from $130,000 to $140,000, along with a bonus of 10-15%.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise property-level accounting and coordinate with third-party property teams
• Analyze financial reports, budgets, and tax-related calculations
• Handle mortgage payments, lender reporting, and loan compliance
• Provide audit assistance and support development project accounting
• Work with Acquisitions and Disposition teams on due diligence and post-closing processes
• Oversee joint venture accounting, including capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business
• 5+ years of property accounting experience in commercial real estate
• Strong understanding of GAAP, tax accounting, and tenant recoveries (CAM)
• Proficiency with financial software (MRI preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
