Express Roofing is a locally owned and operated company in Chelmsford, MA, recognized for quality craftsmanship and outstanding customer service. We specialize in residential roofing and have built a strong reputation based on trust, reliability, and care for our community.
We’re looking for a Part-Time Personal Assistant to support the company owner. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. The position is based at the owner’s home in Chelmsford, and hours can vary from 15 - 30 hours per week .
What You’ll Do
- Manage personal errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and bank deposits (reliable transportation required).
- Provide some pet care for the owner’s cats.
- Organize and maintain both digital and paper files.
- Monitor and respond to online company reviews (e.g., Google).
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations.
- Track receipts and expenses; support basic bookkeeping (QuickBooks experience a plus).
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Previous experience as a personal or executive assistant preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- High level of discretion, reliability, and professionalism.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with small business operations or the construction/roofing industry is a plus.
- Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
