Position: Restaurant General Manager
Job Overview:
As our Restaurant General Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and unique experience. You’ll oversee all front-of-house operations, including staff scheduling, revenue management, bar inventory, and ordering. In this role, you’ll focus on optimizing costs, driving sales growth, and expanding our customer base. Additionally, you’ll lead recruitment, hiring, and training initiatives, cultivating a team dedicated to delivering outstanding service with integrity and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with ownership to develop and execute strategies that achieve operational goals.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as the face of our restaurant to the team and the local community.
- Financial Acumen: Submit weekly schedules that deliver exceptional guest experience while adhering to labor budgets.
- Operational Excellence: Lead daily walkthroughs to ensure facilities meet our rigorous standards for cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
- HR & Compliance: Ensure human resources practices reflect our values and comply with all local, state, and federal laws.
- Team Development: Train, delegate, and mentor direct reports, fostering a positive environment through professional communication.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven leadership history supervising full-service restaurants.
- Industry Knowledge: General food and beverage expertise (craft beer, cocktails, wine) and a solid understanding of labor laws.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Toast POS.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical: Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Availability: Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Salary: Six-figure base salary ($100,000+) with a robust incentive plan tied to the restaurant’s success.
