CMO/Medical Director Opportunity - Northeast
Universal Health Services (UHS), a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services with over 250 facilities nationwide, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Medical Officer (CMO) / Medical Director to oversee psychiatric services at one of our standalone Behavioral Health facilities in the Northeast region. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners.
- Oversee inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services for both child and adolescent, as well as adult populations.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and UHS policies.
- Participate in strategic planning and development of new programs and services.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified in Psychiatry; Child & Adolescent Psychiatry certification is a plus.
- Active medical license or eligibility for licensure in [State].
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in psychiatry.
- Previous leadership experience in a psychiatric setting, overseeing inpatient Psychiatrist preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
