Director of Social Services – Skilled Nursing Facility (North Shore, MA)
Full-Time Leadership Role Resident-Centered Care
Arcadia Talent Partners is excited to support a respected Skilled Nursing Facility on the North Shore in hiring a compassionate and mission-driven Director of Social Services.
This is a meaningful leadership opportunity for a Social Worker who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about enhancing the emotional and social wellbeing of seniors.
About the Role
As the Director of Social Services, you’ll be the anchor of resident support — guiding families, advocating for residents, and helping create a warm, connected community within the facility. You’ll collaborate closely with nursing, therapy, admissions, and administrative teams to ensure every resident receives holistic, dignified care. This is an ideal role for someone who loves building relationships, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact every day.
What You Bring
- Degree from an accredited school of Social Work
- Active MA licensure (LSW, LCSW, or LICSW required)
- 2+ years of long term care experience preferred , but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered (SUD)
- A heart for seniors and a passion for teamwork, communication, and compassionate care
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy
