Summer Camp Nurse Needed!

Locations: Newton, MA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-2:30 PM

Duration: 7/6 - 7/31 (2 day orientation ahead of start)

Pay Rate: $55/hr

Dress Code: Scrubs

About the Opportunity

Inclusive summer sports program for children ages 8-12. This camp welcomes 120-150 campers each year-half with and half without intellectual or developmental disabilities-creating a truly unique, supportive, and inclusive environment.

RN Responsibilities

• Provide onsite medical support for campers ages 8-12

• Oversee daily health needs, medications, and treatments

• Manage first aid, injuries, and health-related concerns

• Support campers with chronic conditions

• Communicate with camp leadership, families, and staff as needed

• Maintain accurate health logs and documentation

• Participate in a positive and inclusive camp culture

• Only RN on the campus

Experience & Requirements

Required:

• Active MA RN license

• Pediatric or school nursing experience

• Comfortable working with children ages 8-12

• BLS certification

Preferred:

• Previous experience in summer camps, community-based programs, or inclusive settings

• Someone interested in joining the students outside when possible
