Director of Sales - home infusion pharmacy
Director of Sales
Location: Michigan, Ohio, or Indiana
Salary: $150,000–$160,000 base salary (negotiable based on experience) + lucrative commission plan
Summary
Our client is a leading provider of specialty infusion and home healthcare services, delivering comprehensive care through a multidisciplinary approach. This organization is focused on driving positive clinical outcomes while supporting patients, providers, and payers throughout the treatment process.
We are seeking a Director of Sales to lead regional sales strategy, oversee Specialty Infusion Managers (SIMs), and drive new business development across a multi-state territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve net revenue and EBITDA objectives for the assigned territory
- Lead, develop, and manage Specialty Infusion Managers to drive performance and growth
- Generate Acute, Chronic, and IVIG patient referrals and expand home infusion business
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across hospitals, physicians, payors, home health agencies, hospice providers, LTACs, and skilled nursing facilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and key accounts
- Develop and execute market strategies aligned with company goals
- Present services, negotiate agreements, and manage ongoing account relationships
- Partner cross-functionally with pharmacy, intake, nursing, reimbursement, and operations teams
- Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and in-service presentations
- Hire, coach, and evaluate direct reports while supporting overall team development
- Assist in managed care strategy, contract execution, and pricing submissions
- Identify and resolve customer service issues within the territory
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- 5+ years of home infusion sales experience with a proven track record of success
- 3+ years of experience managing a sales team across a multi-state territory
- Strong ability to drive new business and expand market share
- Experience working with healthcare providers and referral networks
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel and operate effectively across a regional territory
