Travel Nursing Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,470 - $2,540 per week
• Assignment Length: 15 weeks (September 22, 2025 – January 3, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: 600-bed teaching hospital, Level I trauma center
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/evenings/nights), with a mix of 8 and 12-hour shifts every 4 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Float Pool: Support 15 medical-surgical units including neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, surgery, oncology, transplant, vascular, and more

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 3 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Level I trauma center experience required
• Teaching hospital experience and specialty area expertise preferred
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate web-based healthcare applications
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients across multiple medical-surgical units
• Perform unit-specific procedures such as 12-lead EKGs, lasix infusions, blood transfusions, and telemetry monitoring
• Administer nebulizers and collaborate with respiratory therapists for ventilator management
• Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations as part of the float pool
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Epic EMR for patient records
• Participate in weekly orientation and follow facility scheduling guidelines
• Work every other weekend and cover holidays as required
