Sanitary Tubing TIG Expert
Join our team as an expert in Sanitary Tubing Fit-Up and TIG Welding , tackling the challenges of new equipment installations and tankfarm connections within our cutting-edge process manufacturing facility. Be essential in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of both oil transfer systems and high-pressure lines.
Your Role:
- Expertly fit-up and TIG weld stainless steel sanitary tubing .
- Weld schedule 40 stainless steel pipes tasked with handling high-pressure air and chiller lines, specifically at a 4-inch diameter.
- Operate TIG welders autonomously, selecting appropriate rod and cup sizes, and determining correct amperage and heat settings.
- Perform welding on fittings, ferrules, and connectors, eschewing tube-to-tube or pipe-to-pipe welds.
- Work from verbal instructions alone—no diagrams or predefined weld parameters.
- Partner effectively with team members while independently visualizing and implementing routing and fit-up needs.
What You Bring:
- Extensive experience in process manufacturing environments focusing on sanitary tube welding and fitting.
- Proficiency in TIG welding using both foot pedal and alternate control methods like thumb, wheel, or finger techniques.
- Strong knowledge of purge techniques and adeptness with welding setups.
- Ability to thrive when working at heights and in fast-paced installation scenarios.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and visualization prowess.
- A collaborative spirit with a proven ability to work autonomously.
