Responsible for safe material handling and execution of kitting and packaging operations within a production environment. This role requires interpreting Bill of Materials (BOM) , prints, and work instructions to assemble assay kits accurately. The associate ensures product quality through in-process checks, adheres to build schedules, and maintains compliance with safety procedures and production standards . Requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform kitting and packaging using BOM , kit drawings, and work instructions
- Handle materials safely across production processes
- Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Follow production schedules to meet deadlines and output targets
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Operate computerized test equipment and production tools
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace
- Identify components and verify materials before assembly
- Support team operations while working independently when required
Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, kitting, or assembly operations
- Knowledge of BOM interpretation and production documentation
- Basic proficiency in computer systems and data entry
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
- Familiarity with production equipment and testing tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Dependable with strong work ethic and time management skills
