Job Overview

As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, your role will focus on installing and repairing industrial machinery and building systems' electrical components.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing and diagnostics on faulty machinery, recommending corrective actions collaboratively with maintenance staff and supervisors.
• Proficiently operate in industrial control software: RS Linx, RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5, and RS Logix 5000.
• Collaborate in troubleshooting high-tier industrial networking: DeviceNet, ControlNet, and Remote I/O.
• Maintain networking systems efficiently including DH+, DH485, DeviceNet, and Ethernet.
• Build strong professional connections within the maintenance department and with external partners and vendors.
• Diagnose and repair advanced control systems such as servos and related components.
• Swiftly respond and resolve electrical component and system issues across our facility and grounds.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of comprehensive power and electrical systems (encompassing both low and high voltage).
• Adeptly interpret and implement electrical schematics.
• Handle diagnostics of electric motor controls effectively.
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of sensors and solid-state equipment.
• Order necessary parts and materials utilizing manufacturers' manuals and schematics.
• Ensure effective communication of both oral and written instructions.
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience is advantageous. Equivalent educational and experience combinations are acceptable.

Licensing

A valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license is necessary.
