The Clinician in the Ambulatory Services Department is responsible for the provision of direct services through individual, group and family counseling to people affected by addiction and/or mental illness.

Salary: 68 k plus commensurate with experience/license. Sign-On Bonus eligible.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide 100 hours of direct client service per month in a combination of comprehensive assessments, individual, family and group treatment.
• Maintain case records in compliance with agency standards.
• Participate in weekly group supervision and individual clinical supervision.
• Perform case management functions as necessary for specific clients
• Communicate, as indicated, with referring agencies and others on behalf of the client.
• Submit billing information daily and communicate with insurance providers as needed.
• Share on-call coverage as requested by the Director of Ambulatory Services.
• Respond to crisis situations as requested.
• Pursue licensure.
• Other duties as required.

Education & Experience

• Master's degree in social work or counseling - related discipline is required.
• Experience with treatment of enrollees with chemical dependence and/or psychiatric impairment.
• Computer skills.
• Strong Oral and Written Skills.
• Ability to function effectively as a treatment team member.
• Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.
• Self-awareness.
• Bilingual/Spanish a plus.
