Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Assignment Details
  • Duration: 13 Weeks
  • Schedule: Rotating Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Compensation

Weekly Gross Pay: $2,180 – $2,460.96

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. The ideal candidate will deliver therapeutic interventions, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to respond effectively in critical care situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Initiate and manage ventilatory support using lung-protective strategies
  • Perform ventilator management, weaning, and troubleshooting
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures including ABGs, sputum collection, bedside spirometry, and capnography
  • Interpret diagnostic results and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Administer oxygen therapy, high-flow oxygen, Heliox, and aerosolized medications
  • Support non-invasive ventilation therapies
  • Assist with intubations, bronchoscopies, and conscious sedation procedures
  • Respond to emergency situations including codes and rapid response events
  • Manage artificial airways, including tracheostomy care and suctioning
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams during rounds
  • Participate in staff training and maintain equipment and supplies
Qualifications
  • Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy License
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of critical care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
