Location: Greater Boston, MetroWest & surrounding areas

Job Type: Part-time, flexible, contract

Pay: Competitive hourly

Do you love coaching kids, building skills, and helping them gain confidence and discipline? Join our Summer In-Home Sports Program and provide private and small group swim and basketball lessons at clients’ homes. Families already have backyard pools or hoops, so all you do is show up and teach!

Swim Instructors

Beginner water safety & learn-to-swim

• Stroke development & technique improvement
• Confidence building in the water
• Private & small group lessons

Basketball Coaches

• Beginner fundamentals & ball handling
• Shooting mechanics & footwork
• Game awareness & skill development
• Private & small group sessions

Requirements

• CPR & First Aid Certification (must provide proof)
• Minimum 1 year coaching, teaching, or instructional experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with children of various ages and skill levels
• Reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred but not required:

• Lifeguard certification (swim instructors)
• Competitive swim or basketball experience
• Coaching or camp experience
• Experience teaching private lessons

Responsibilities

• Travel to client homes for lessons
• Teach age-appropriate skills and safety
• Create engaging, structured sessions
• Build confidence and positive growth in students
• Communicate progress clearly with families
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment
