Position Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Hyannis, MA 02601

Job Type: Contract

Shift: Day/Night | 3×12.5-hour shifts

Local Pay Range: $58–$62/hr

Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced ICU RN to provide high-quality critical care using the full nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring complex patient conditions, documenting in electronic medical systems, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care. Strong critical-care skills, sound clinical judgment, and professionalism are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based care utilizing the full nursing process.

• Perform and document comprehensive assessments, including physical, psychological, and discharge planning needs.

• Develop and communicate individualized plans of care in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.

• Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned and support staff orientation and education.

• Utilize computerized nursing informatics systems for documentation and care planning.

• Participate in quality improvement activities and monitor patient outcome indicators.

• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and blood/body fluid protocols.

• Keep professional competencies up to date through ongoing education.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and represent the organization professionally.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Active Massachusetts RN license.

• BLS certification.

• ACLS certification.

• Successful completion of facility pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams (or ability to complete upon onboarding).

• Prior ICU/critical care experience.

• Strong skills in:

  • Hemodynamic monitoring

  • Ventilator management

  • Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring

Preferred:

• De-escalation certification (approved course).

• BSN degree.

• CCRN certification.

• TCAR certification.
