Job Title: Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper (Summer 2026)

Location: Brockton, MA
Schedule: Part-Time (32 hours per week, flexible schedule)

Start Date: Summer 2026

Reports to: Managing Partner

About the Role:

Complex Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accountant/Bookkeeper to support our growing client base. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting for small businesses and nonprofit organizations. This role is ideal for someone who values precision, enjoys working with numbers, and thrives in a professional consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate general ledgers and journals.
• Process accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
• Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, etc.).
• Assist with payroll entries and related filings.
• Organize supporting documentation for tax and audit purposes.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) and Excel required.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with small business or nonprofit clients.
• Familiarity with tax preparation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Multilingual ability is highly valued — candidates fluent in any of the following languages are strongly encouraged to apply:
• Mandarin, Hindi, French, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Arabic, or Korean.
• Other languages commonly spoken in diverse business communities are also a plus.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $25–$40/hour , depending on experience.
• Flexible hours.
