Respite Caregivers (Berkshire County, MA)
Respite Caregivers Wanted!
Nonotuck Resource Associates is seeking compassionate and dependable respite caregivers to support individuals in our Shared Living Community. As a respite provider, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing someone's quality of life—helping them stay engaged in their community, explore new interests, and build meaningful relationships.
Enjoy a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle—you can work as many or as few days per month as you'd like! Typical activities may include:

✔️ Helping to develop new activities and experiences

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with a reliable and insured vehicle.
- Able to pass a Massachusetts and nationwide criminal background check (CORI and fingerprinting)
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Prior experience with people with intellectual disabilities and / or mental health disorders is extremely helpful but not required
- A team player who is willing to participate as a member of the support team.
The Following Resources will be Available:
- A pay agreed upon by the Respite and Shared Living Provider
- 24- Hour emergency on-call assistance
- Support from a Multi-Disciplinary Team (Care Manager, Clinician, RN and Directors)
- Training on home safety skills, medication management, and First Aid/CPR
