Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Hyannis, MA

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Pay Rate: $60–$70 per hour

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses in accordance with established protocols

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation throughout the patient care continuum, including assessments and discharge planning

• Communicate assessment findings and critical information to the interdisciplinary care team

• Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned

• Demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and computerized nursing informatics

• Support staff orientation, education, and clinical guidance as a resource

• Participate in staff meetings, mandatory training programs, and quality improvement initiatives

• Adhere to hospital safety standards, including bloodborne pathogen and infection control protocols

• Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices relevant to diverse patient populations

• Represent the organization professionally in all internal and external interactions

• Provide excellent service to patients, families, visitors, and colleagues

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience required

• 1 year of ER travel experience preferred

• Current Massachusetts RN license

• BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be maintained)

• Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams

• Proficiency in IV therapy, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring

• De-escalation training preferred

• TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications preferred
