Dental hygienist
Boston North Dental Associates is a patient-focused, privately owned general dentistry practice in Saugus, MA. We pride ourselves on building lasting relationships with our patients and providing dental excellence in a fun, busy, and supportive office environment. Our team is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal oral health, and we are looking for a new team member who shares our commitment to quality care and a positive patient experience.
We are seeking a self-motivated, knowledgeable, and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, promoting good oral health practices, and helping to maintain our practice's high standards of dental excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and communication skills and be a friendly, outgoing, and team-oriented individual.
Dental hygienist
Job Description Perform oral prophylaxis, root planing, curettage, and soft tissue management.
Educate and motivate patients on achieving and maintaining optimal oral health.
Ensure patients feel comfortable and at ease during their examination and treatment.
Take and process X-rays while maintaining proper Radiation Health & Safety protocols.
Administer local anesthesia as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation and charts.
Operate and manage medical imaging equipment, including intraoral cameras.
part-time $46 - $56 per hour

Requirements Current and active Registered Dental Hygienist license.
Certification in Radiation Health & Safety.
Proficiency in administering local anesthesia.
Excellent clinical skills in oral prophylaxis, root planing, and soft tissue management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient comfort and education.
Ability to maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
Proven ability to work effectively as a part of a team.

Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software.
Experience with intraoral cameras.
