Pay:
FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $25 - $30 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting an completing routine maintenance of equipment
• Ordering maintenance supplies/ parts
• Following preventative maintenance program for equipment & facility
• Assisting with equipment installations
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety of maintenance shop and facility
• Operation of forklift (experience and/ or forklift operator certificate required)
• Assuring safety and all regulatory requirements are met with regards to equipment and building maintenance.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Communicate with team members and work order requestors to keep personnel informed of progress
• Document current status in work order system
• Follow Best Practices developed by the maintenance team and evolve Best Practices
• Responsible for responding to assigned corrective actions per the CAR system
• Complete Safety Skills Training as assigned and on time. Attend all company training sessions/classes.
• Assist subcontractors when needed.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.Trade school or some college is a plus..
• 3+ years Mechanical maintenance experience is necessary
• Electrical maintenance experience is a plus
• Knowledge and experience with using lathes, Bridgeports, and mechanical saws
• Use of hand tools and measurement devices
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Forklift experience/ operator certificate desired
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic computer skills required with the ability to enter data onto a tablet.
