Driver & Customer Service Rep (Boston)
Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau (GBCVB) is seeking a Seasonal Driver / Customer Service Rep to work on the new Greater Boston Mobile Visitors Center. The Driver / CSR is a crucial member of a dynamic team working to achieve our mission of promoting the amazing Greater Boston area and enhancing visitor experience. You’ll drive to set locations and speak with customers, locals and visitors about the many exciting attractions, events and experiences offered in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Drive safely through city streets in a company-owned Mobile Visitor Center box-truck.
- Interact with the public to promote Greater Boston, our members, events and experiences.
- Effectively communicate with individuals seeking information and guidance.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Re-stock retail items.
- Willingness to learn & operate a point of sales system as needed.
- Active standard U.S. driver’s license (non-CDL) and clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Prior driving experience, such as shuttle bus, MBTA, delivery vehicle, box truck preferred; willingness to learn is acceptable.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to interact with the public / strong customer service skills required.
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
Job Type:
- Seasonal, part-time, weekend days are required.
- Variable hours 15 – 25 per week
