Maintenance Director
Overview:
Central Mass Transit Management, Inc. a subcontractor of the Worcester Regional Transit Authority, provides local fixed route bus service to Worcester MA and surrounding towns. We are looking to fill the Maintenance Director This position is a full time, salaried role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily running of the Maintenance department in a union environment using Microsoft Office and Kronos software systems.
The Maintenance Director is responsible for directing and overseeing all operations of the maintenance shop and garage, including the maintenance and repair of CMTM vehicles, equipment (excluding MIS equipment), and facilities. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the fleet through preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, rebuilding, and facility upkeep. The Maintenance Manager also oversees inventory control, regulatory compliance, staffing, budgeting support, and participation in the CMTM Emergency Management and Environmental Management Plans.
