We are seeking anOperations Supervisorto flex between Production and Warehouse Operations at Diannes Fine Desserts (a Dessert Holdings company) in Newburyport, MA. This role will primarily focus on leading and supporting change for the warehouse team, with a strong emphasis on establishing, improving, and standardizing processes to drive efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate is passionate about people, process, and performanceable to operate in a fast-paced, regulated environment. This is a great opportunity for an emerging leader looking to grow in food or beverage manufacturing and make a direct impact on daily operations. $70 85K (+ bonus) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead day-to-day operations in the warehouse and support production as needed Implement and support warehouse processes, material flow, inventory control, and receiving/shipping procedures Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and foster a safety-first, high-performance culture Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and internal food safety regulations Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams Utilize Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies to drive productivity Maintain accurate documentation and inventory tracking using ERP systems Support onboarding, training, and development of warehouse and production team members Participate in audits, root cause investigations, and CAPA processes Flex into production leadership duties as needed to support shift coverage and plant performance QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma required (a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field referred) At least two years of prior supervisory experience of a team member Prior experience with FDA or USDA regulated operations Strong understanding of GMPs, food safety, and sanitation practices Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred Prior experience in ERP systems and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles (5S, standard work, Kaizen) Good communication skills, hands-on attitude, analytical skills, takes initiative, solves problems PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
