Locum MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Cardiology
Description
This on-site, contract position is ideal for medical professionals looking to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare staffing industry.
As a Locum Cardiology Doctor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while supporting healthcare facilities in need of specialized medical expertise. Your contributions will help ensure that patients receive timely and effective treatment, ultimately enhancing the quality of care within the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality cardiology care to patients in various clinical settings
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Stay updated on advancements in cardiology and best practices
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to the clinical decision-making process
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Associate-level experience in cardiology or related field
- Current and valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
No call requirement
Patient Census: 14-16 per day
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
