Reception/Patient Care Coordinator
What You’ll Be Working On
Greet customers and patients when they arrive
Check-in and check-out patients and customers
Communicate with patients via phone, text and email
Answer the phone in the office
Schedule appointments for eye exams, contact lenses and eyeglasses
Review and look up medical insurance eligibility for patients
Review and look up out of network vision benefits for clients
Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
Review and prepare patient’s billing information
Clean, stock, and maintain supplies in the office
Qualifications
Excellent communication and relationships with clients, deliver top-notch service
Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and have strong organization skills
High comfort level with computers, electronic health records, and digital communication
Demonstrated compassion for patients
Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
Promote and foster a positive work environment
Optometry or medical office experience not required, but a plus
