Job Description
JOB DETAILS
Base Pay starts at $20.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for proper movement of all materials
- Accurate issuing and stocking of production lines
- Cycle counting of raw materials as required
- Proper picking and loading of finished goods
- Assures finished goods are accurately loaded and handled with care
- Assures manufacturing loads are accurate and properly combined
- Assures scrap material is properly weighed and prepared for pick up
- Safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.
- Other related duties as assigned
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to understand shipping and packing lists, etc
- Must have adequate computer skills to comprehend and operate related automated systems
- Strong attention to detail including accurate cycle counting skills
- Heavy lifting, driving a forklift and handling pallet jacks
Qualifications
- SAP experience preferred
- Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
- Be able to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the warehouse.
- Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English. (bi-lingual is a plus)
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
