Shift: Flexible Day Shifts

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week

• Flexible day shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Rotating days, occasional weekends and holidays

• Weekly Pay: $1,267.50

Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Donor Room Apheresis Phlebotomy Technician I for an exciting Travel job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Perform donor blood collections (whole blood and apheresis), verification, drawing, and aftercare in donor centers and mobile units

• Assist at offsite blood drives, including preparation, labeling, processing components, and maintaining supplies/inventory

• Recruit platelet donors, train staff, prepare reports, and support promotional events

• Conduct quality control, calibrate instruments, and maintain clean and safe work areas

• Consult records, resolve donor issues, and stay up to date on policies and procedures

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Effective English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)

• 2 years of experience as a Donor Phlebotomist or 1 year as an Apheresis Phlebotomist

• Knowledge of blood groups, Rh types, and donation procedures

• National Phlebotomy Certification (maintained)

• Current Donor Phlebotomy Technician (DPT, ASCP) Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

• Typing speed of 30 WPM

• Ability to complete Manufacturer Operators Training for Apheresis within 3 months

Preferred Qualifications:

• Eligibility for Qualification in Apheresis (QIA, ASCP) or equivalent
