Sr. EHS Consultant
Job Description

In this role, you will be part of the Global Health and Safety Department. Together with the local EHS Senior Manager, you will implement occupational safety and health risk prevention and wellbeing programs with the LEGO® Brand Retail (LBR) store teams and remote-working Retail Merchandisers in the Americas (AMS).
Job Description
· Analyzing safety reporting and safety audit data, identifying patterns and
trends, and preparing quantitative and qualitative findings.
· Reporting Worker’s Compensation claims to the insurance carrier and provid
ing internal support and coordination for claims administration.
· Preparing risk assessments for LBR and US Merchandising workplaces, opera
tions, and events.
· Developing monthly EHS training program content based on incident and audit
trends and regulatory requirements.
· Serving as a contact point for routine intake requests for consulting support
from the LBR and Retail Merchandising departments.
· Supporting development of new LBR stores, including review of proposed tech
nical build documents, and inspection of construction sites prior to business
handover.
· Coordinating with internal partners to develop countermeasures and process
improvements to reduce safety and health risk to staff and customers.

Our global EHS team is responsible for ensuring that all company facilities— factories, hubs, offices, and stores adhere to high standards of Health & Safety compliance. We ensure policies and procedures are built to minimize risks, prevent accidents and protect both employees and shoppers in the stores.
LBR stores are strategically important to the success of the LEGO® Group. The experience of shoppers in LBR stores is the hallmark of our direct-to-consumer business unit. These experiences, chiefly crafted by our store employees, can only exist when our Associates can work within an environment carefully curated with a high degree of safety and occupational health. In collaboration with the senior EHS Manager and LBR leadership, this role enables safe and healthy experiences for employees and shoppers by guiding stakeholders on our global and regional safety policies, verifying regulatory compliance, and building best practices and countermeasures for workplace hazards.
Do you have what it takes?
· Proven practical experience with Health & Safety industry standards and OSHA
standards in a retail environment.
· Experience and proven track record of driving and managing changes.
· Ability to handle a variety of concurrent projects, reacting appropriately to
changing priorities. Consult with and influence interested parties, partnering
with them to gain agreement and alignment.
· Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with experience in develop
ing and delivering presentations.
· Ability to travel 20 days per year.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
· Certified Safety Professional or Associate Safety Professional certifications
from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals preferred.
· Experience working with ISO45001 & OSHA 18001 preferred.
· Prior background in SAP preferred.
Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $96,326.00 - $144,488.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
