Yell-O-Glow is a full-line wholesale food distributor that has been servicing customers across New England since 1946. Now in its fourth generation of family leadership, Yell-O-Glow works passionately to procure grocery and produce from all over the world. We supply chain supermarkets, c-stores, bodegas, restaurants, catering companies, and vending operators with the diverse inventory they need to stock their shelves and satisfy their consumers. Yell-O-Glow specializes in Latin and international brands in addition to having one of the largest and most advanced banana processing operations in the United States.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Office Administrator to support our daily operations and contribute to the efficiency of our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee administrative functions and provide supervision to staff as needed

  • Greet clients, answer phone calls, and respond promptly to client emails

  • Operate and maintain office equipment (copiers, fax machines, computers, etc.)

  • Conduct research and prepare reports for supervisors and team members

  • Assist employees with additional projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

  • Availability to work Saturdays with a 5:00 a.m. start time is required
