Office Administrator
About Us:
Yell-O-Glow is a full-line wholesale food distributor that has been servicing customers across New England since 1946. Now in its fourth generation of family leadership, Yell-O-Glow works passionately to procure grocery and produce from all over the world. We supply chain supermarkets, c-stores, bodegas, restaurants, catering companies, and vending operators with the diverse inventory they need to stock their shelves and satisfy their consumers. Yell-O-Glow specializes in Latin and international brands in addition to having one of the largest and most advanced banana processing operations in the United States.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Office Administrator to support our daily operations and contribute to the efficiency of our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee administrative functions and provide supervision to staff as needed
Greet clients, answer phone calls, and respond promptly to client emails
Operate and maintain office equipment (copiers, fax machines, computers, etc.)
Conduct research and prepare reports for supervisors and team members
Assist employees with additional projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Availability to work Saturdays with a 5:00 a.m. start time is required
