Accounting Clerk (Temporary – Through July)
Our client in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a temporary Accounting Clerk to support their small accounting office during a leave coverage assignment through July. This is a fully onsite opportunity offering a steady Monday–Friday schedule and the chance to work closely with the Finance Manager in a collaborative office environment.
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Fully onsite in Pittsfield, MA
- Temporary assignment through July
- Pay rate: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Process invoicing and assist with basic accounting functions
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records
- Generate and update reports in Excel
- Support daily administrative and office tasks within the accounting department
- Assist the Finance Manager with general accounting support as needed

Qualifications
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office support experience preferred
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Excel and other office systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a small office environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and update reports.
- Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Odoo, Flightline, or related systems.
