Data Operations & Reporting Specialist - INTL - India

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Operations & Reporting Specialist to join a top global consulting firm. This firm delivers solutions through innovative management consulting, technology, and corporate & digital ventures. The specialist will provide day-to-day data operations, data quality management, and data-model support for the Office Attendance (OA) and Operations Performance Navigator (OPN) platforms. The position will also support the exploration and deployment of a lightweight, Snowflake-native reporting solution.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Monitor daily, weekly, and recurring data alerts (OA & OPN); investigate issues and drive timely remediation.

• Build, maintain, and update data models, logical flows, and architecture diagrams (e.g., in Miro) for Office Attendance and Operations Performance Navigator-ensuring all database objects, sources, and transformations are clearly documented.

• Support ongoing operations including handling ServiceNow (SNOW) tickets for OA & OPN, triaging issues, and coordinating with engineering teams for fixes.

• Collaborate with data engineers to implement schema or data-model updates that improve stability, performance, and accuracy across OA & OPN backend systems.

• Identify data patterns, anomalies, and inconsistencies; document and escalate issues for remediation.

• Validate ETL/API integrations by performing source-to-target mapping checks, record count validations, and verifying business logic applications.

• Investigate ingestion or transformation issues with developers, retest fixes, and ensure resolution.

• Validate all user stories involving data changes to confirm acceptance criteria are met prior to release.

• Verify end-to-end data flow across source, staging, and target systems to ensure expected logic and transformations are correctly implemented.

• Help evaluate and select a lightweight reporting option compatible with Snowflake.

• Build and maintain read-only reporting views and curated datasets to support operational insights for OA & OPN, while maintaining strict governance and role-based access.

• Provide SQL-based summaries, extracts, and operational metrics to support decision-making.

• Ensure all reporting logic aligns with underlying data models and adheres to governance and consistency standards.

This position is a 12-18 month contract. Individuals must be located in India, ideally local to Delhi to go into the local office when needed.

Pay Rate: $15/hr-$23/hr

Skills and Requirements

• 5-6 years of data operations and reporting experience within a large agile environment

• Strong data modeling experience, with the ability to build, maintain, and update data model for Office Attendance (OA) and Operations Performance Navigator (OPN)

• Expertise with snowflake and ability to provide SQL-based summaries, extracts, and operational metrics

• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills - Experience with Tableau and PowerBI
