Job Title: Racker

Pay: $17.50/hr + overtime

Shift: First (1st) shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Racker to join our 1st-shift Finishing team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment and take pride in ensuring every part is properly prepared for downstream finishing operations, this is the role for you. You will be responsible for wiring and fixturing delicate parts onto racks, supporting cleaning, plating, and surface coating processes, while helping maintain a safe, efficient workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Secure or fixture parts onto designated racks per general instructions using copper wire or pre-existing rack fixtures.
  • Read and apply special instructions when required, ensuring correct part orientation and fixturing.
  • Perform frequent counting of product to maintain accuracy and meet daily rack quotas.
  • Inspect incoming parts and report any defects or questionable conditions immediately to the Department Lead.
  • Keep work area and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations, including proper disposal of wire scraps and maintaining clear walkways.
  • Execute prescribed preventive maintenance on racking equipment such as checking wire cutters, lubricating pins, and inspecting rack fixtures as scheduled.
  • Complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule with minimal supervision, consistently meeting production targets.
  • Collaborate with peers and leadership to support overall production demands and address issues promptly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
