Johnson Service Group, has an several openings both part time and full time for a Material Handler with a medical device manufacturer in Auburn, MA

Onsite | $18.00 per hour + 5% Shift Differential

The Logistics Center Associate/Material Handler will support the flow of goods for samples, conventions, and customer owned material. Associates are expected to support and contribute to the continuous improvement of (LEAN) culture.

Responsibilities:

• Processing product to, and from, approved repair vendors.
• Performing packaging and shipping functions.
• Communicating the status of orders to internal stakeholders via email and/or notes added through SAP transactions.
• Participating in LEAN/Continuous Improvement initiatives with a high level of engagement.
• These LEAN activities include: 6S audits, Idea Board meetings, Visual Control Systems

Skills/Experience:

• Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
• Intermediate computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and transition easily between topics
• Strong communication skills
• Dependable & Punctual
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and in teams

Desired Skills:

• SAP experience
• Shipping experience
