Front Desk Admin (4pm-12am shift)

The Front Desk Admin is essential in fostering a friendly and organized atmosphere for graduate students. This role includes supporting a variety of housing-related activities, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring residents enjoy a positive experience in a lively, pet-friendly setting. A lot of mail gets delivered here so making ideal candidates should be highly organized and have warm communication towards residents and visitors.

Job Benefits:

  • Wednesday - Sunday 4pm to 12am schedule
  • $19/hour pay rate
  • Work in a supportive, graduate dorm setting
  • Conveniently located near the Central Red Line T Stop

Responsibilities:

  • Help students check out items (e.g., games, cleaning supplies) and keep an accurate record of transactions
  • Oversee key distribution during move-in and move-out times
  • Handle incoming mail, processing many packages each day with precision

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in roles such as food service, retail, or mail processing within a corporate environment
  • Able to lift and manage items weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of regular duties
  • 6 month of front desk or office experience
  • Will need to be available for a 4pm-12am schedule from Wednesday - Sunday
