Description
We are currently seeking MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Internal Medicine and Primary Care .. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive medical care to patients, focusing on disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting the health and well-being of individuals within the community. You will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at delivering high-quality healthcare services and improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories of patients.
- Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and lifestyle recommendations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to obtain more information for accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, health maintenance, and overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to make sound medical decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Empathy and compassion towards patients.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Schedule: 4-day workweek, 40 hours per week
1:40 call rotation
Patient Volume: ~18 per day
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
