Who We Are
Wayfair believes everyone deserves a home they love, and that furnishing your home should be a source of fun, not anxiety. Our Product team plays a crucial role in making this vision a reality for millions of people around the world. Partnering with Engineering, Analytics, Design, and business leaders across Wayfair, our Product team ensures we’re building technology that solves important customer problems in elegant, scalable, measurable ways.
We’re tackling a wide array of fascinating, incredibly difficult problems – like helping a massive, rapidly growing global customer base efficiently find the perfect products from our catalog of >10M items. We have a modern tech stack including sophisticated capabilities around AI, data science, multivariate testing and personalization. And we’re a highly collaborative, supportive team that values learning, psychological safety and intentional career development.
The Promotions & Pricing team owns the platform and front-end experiences that power Wayfair’s promotional events & on-site pricing experience. We are responsible for building the tools, services and customer-facing features that make events like Way Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and monthly sale events possible. Our mission is to create scalable platforms that empower internal stakeholders to run world-class promotions while ensuring our customers enjoy compelling, intuitive, and value-driven shopping experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Define & Drive Roadmaps: Partner closely with business stakeholders to create roadmaps that balance platform scalability with delightful customer experiences.
- Build for Both Internal Users & Our Customers: Translate the needs of both Wayfair customers and internal teams into requirements that improve workflows & on-site experiences.
- Product Requirements & Delivery: Author PRDs & collaborate with design and engineering to deliver new features, enhancements, and platform capabilities that support promotions & pricing.
- Own Promotion & Offer Enablement: Support & optimize the tools, systems and processes that enable Wayfair’s biggest promotional events, ensuring reliable execution by the business and continuous improvement.
- Data-Driven Problem Solving: Leverage qualitative & quantitative insights to identify opportunities, break down complex problems, and measure the impact of product initiatives.
- Full-Stack Product Leadership: Operate across platform & front-end product domains — from backend systems that power promotions to customer-facing experiences that drive engagement.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with engineering, design, analytics, and commercial partners to align on priorities, deliver results, and advocate for the promotions & pricing experience within the broader Wayfair ecosystem.
We’re A Match Because You Have
- 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in e-commerce or platform products.
- Proven track record of building & scaling impactful platform & customer-facing products.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data (SQL, Looker, BigQuery) to drive decisions.
- Experience balancing backend platform development with intuitive front-end experiences.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation, and agile development practices.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams & business leadership, and translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
