Hospital RN Supervisor - up to $85/hr

Need-to-know Information:

• Location: Jamaica Plain, Boston, MA. There is plenty of free parking and nearby MBTA access
• Schedule: 1 st shift 7am-3pm Monday-Friday with rotating weekends
• Set-up: This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extending
• Pay Range: up to $85/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise patient care across units, reviewing assessments, care plans, and documentation to ensure continuity and quality
• Communicate patient status, safety concerns, and shift updates to clinical and administrative personnel
• Coordinate staffing and resources, including authorizing overtime, monitoring budgets, and supporting staff development
• Deliver culturally sensitive nursing care and act as a resource for staff, hospital services, and patient advocacy

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital, clinic, or medical facility
• At least 1 year of supervisory, administrative, or managerial experience
• Current and valid RN license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
• Must have a calm demeanor and knowledge regarding escalated issues in a chronic long-term care or critical care environment

Highly Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience with tracheostomy care or ventilation care
