Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts (02138) – Boston metro area
• Position: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Tele RN)
• Setting: Nursing Float Pool – Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit
• Contract Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: February 28, 2026
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
• Float Requirement: No floating required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,310 - $2,470

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Med/Surg Telemetry RN
• Proficient telemetry skills and ability to work in multiple hospital units
• EPIC electronic health record (EHR) charting experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Travel nursing candidates only – no local applicants for this travel RN job
• Ability to commit to the full 8-week travel nursing contract (no time off requests)

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient information using EPIC EHR system
• Deliver compassionate support and education to patients and their families
• Adapt to the needs of various units within the float pool as assigned
