Inventory Specialist

The Retail Inventory Specialist is responsible for compliant receipt and transfer of cannabis product in and out of their assigned vault and ensures the Retail storefront is stocked for sale. Supports sales and service as needed by assisting customers with their purchases.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate customer service.
• Educate customers on the brand, product options, and regulatory compliance.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a computerized system.
• Protect the stability and reputation of the stores by complying with state regulations and company policies and follow operational procedures as outlined.
• Execute the receipt and transfer of cannabis product in and out of vault and/or facility.
• Perform order fulfillment and restocking as needed.
• Perform regular cycle counts, internal audits, and reconciliation processes.
• Perform investigation of variances and prepares report of findings for issue resolution and prevention of recurrence.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure that there is always a sufficient supply of products to meet demand.
• Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to management.
• Compile and submit inventory reports to the leadership.
• Accommodate a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliant with company SOPs and state regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow applicable safety procedures by wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management
• Behave in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of inventory-related experiencepreferred.
• Basic data entry and data reconciliation experience preferred.
• Basic math skills including adding and subtraction required.
• Proficiency with Excel preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist.
• Visual acuity is needed for viewing computer screens and fine print.
• Manual dexterity needed for performing transactions.

Workplace Environment

• Busy retail environment with moderate noise level
• Indoor/outdoor environment with exposure to seasonal temperature changes
• High volume work during peak hours, events, and holidays

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.52
