Position Summary:

The Home Delivered Meal Drive will work cooperatively with food service department to pick up and deliver home delivered meals to our Neighborhood PACE participants in an accurate, professional and safe manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The driver is responsible for keeping their vehicle clean and in good working order, with enough fuel to carry out their assigned deliveries.

• The driver is expected to check their route sheet and hot and cold carriers for accuracy, along with the cook, signing off on the HDM Sheet before leaving the kitchen.

• The driver is expected to always interact with participants in a professional manner with an emphasis on being courteous, patient, and friendly.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED required.

• Valid MA driver's license and good driving record.

• Ability to safely lift/transport meal containers of up to 25 lbs.

• Knowledge of the areas we serve (East Boston, Winthrop, Revere, Chelsea) is helpful.

Hourly Rate:

Starting at $20.00 and up to $27.00 per hour, based on experience.
