Middle School Instructional Assistants x3

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a well-respected school in Duxbury, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Instructional Assistant to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

Position: Instructional Assistant

Location: Duxbury, MA

School/Setting Type: Special education classroom/inclusive environment. Middle school, smaller district

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Rest of 2025-2026 school year

Hours: 32

Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8a-2:45p

Pay: Up to $25/hour depending on experience

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 1+ year schools based experience working in specific classroom type

• Experience working with students on IEPs in the inclusion setting supporting grade level learning in the classroom at the direction of a special educator case manager

• Experience working with students with Autism and/or related disorders

• Experience and skills working with students that access the therapeutic learning program

• Experience working with students that require instruction related to coping strategies are preferred

• Experience following behavior plans / student success plans preferred
