Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school in New Bedford, MA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support K-12 students for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized behavioral support and guidance for a diverse caseload of students in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement behavior strategies that improve learning outcomes
- Monitor and analyze student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure effective support
- Provide training and consultation to educational teams to promote positive behavioral practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to manage a caseload of students with diverse behavioral needs
- Familiarity with data collection and progress monitoring tools
