Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Cambridge, MA. This temporary placement covers a leave from May 11th to June 11th, offering a part-time schedule of three days per week. You’ll provide vital services to students, utilizing your expertise in pediatric speech therapy, teletherapy, or general school settings. Whether you hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or are a Clinical Fellow (CFY), this assignment offers a fantastic way to make a real difference before the end of the academic year.
Your background may include:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations
- Proficiency with IEPs, assessments, and progress documentation
- Teletherapy experience is a plus
You will:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with established IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and collaborate with school staff and families
- Adapt therapy for in-person or virtual delivery as needed
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality in all matters
- Participate in meetings and provide professional insight on student needs
