Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager with extensive experience in managing tax compliance and reporting for C-Corporations. The ideal candidate will oversee the preparation and filing of various tax forms, ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations, and provide strategic tax planning advice to enhance the organization's tax position. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns for C-Corporations, including forms 5471 and 5472.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state income tax regulations, including estimated tax payments and 1099 reporting.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance financial performance.
- Review and analyze tax provisions, and assist with audits and tax-related inquiries.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for tax reporting and compliance purposes.
- Stay current on tax legislation changes and assess their impact on the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or JD is a plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax management, focusing on C-Corporations.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in tax software such as ProFX and Axcess Tax, and familiarity with tax forms including 1042.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
