Equipment Technician - 2ND SHIFT

Akkodis is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Equipment Technician for a client in Wilmington, MA. The pay rate will be $20 to $25 per hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Under general supervision and following established procedures, the Equipment Technician will perform routine preventive maintenance on SMD and other production equipment. This role is responsible for repairing, aligning, calibrating, inspecting, and testing a wide range of manufacturing machinery. The technician will also utilize computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) to document procedures, schedule and track preventive maintenance, and record inventory usage.

Education & Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience working with production or manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with plating equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of plumbing and/or welding is desirable.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic mechanical and electronic systems.
• Strong technical documentation and writing skills.
