Resourcer/Recruitment Administrator
Recruitment Direct are a recognised independent recruitment agency based in Leominster with a first-rate reputation. We’re looking for a confident, proactive and highly organised individual to join our growing temporary recruitment team. This is a front-facing role, working closely with both clients and candidates, so strong communication skills and a natural ability to multitask are key.
As our Resourcer/Recruitment Administrator, your primary focus will be sourcing high-quality candidates to meet client requirements, while also supporting the smooth operation of the temp desk. You will play a critical part in building strong talent pipelines, managing candidate engagement, and contributing to the overall growth of the business.
What you can expect:
- Basic salary: circa £30k, depending on experience
- Monday - Friday (9am-5pm with an hour for lunch)
- Bonus structure based on temp desk revenue
- Generous commission structure for perm desk placements
- 22 days annual leave plus an additional day for your birthday plus statutory holidays
- Leominster central location with parking (minimal cost)
- Shared responsibility for the emergency out of hours mobile
What you will be doing:
- Proactively source and attract candidates across multiple channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and internal CRM system
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to meet current and future client requirements
- Maintain regular and proactive communication with candidates, confirming availability, upcoming plans, and providing timely updates
- Support the temp desk by managing bookings, updating records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Alongside temp desk colleagues, staying in the loop with recruitment agency updates to ensure client and candidate compliance
- Assisting with the out-of-hours mobile on a rota basis, ensuring urgent queries are handled
- As part of the wider recruitment team, you may be asked to support additional temp and perm desk administration e.g. creating job descriptions, posting adverts, and writing CVs
What we are looking for:
- Prior office experience essential
- A keen interest in recruitment, HR, or operations
- Graduate level education preferred
- Confident communicator, able to develop relationships with clients and candidates
- A proactive and positive attitude, you’re eager to learn and ready to get stuck in
- IT literacy, specifically MS Excel
- The ability to stay calm when things get busy and adapt to last-minute changes
- Willingness to monitor the out of hours mobile
- Full driving licence
